On Saturday evening we had our ward Christmas party at the church. After dinner, a video depicting the nativity story was shown for a presentation. At the opening of the movie the Mormon Tabernacle Choir was singing some Christmas songs, pictured in the same place as general conference. Tyler was listening intently, and then remarked over and over something about 'papa', 'cunfrince', and 'reverently'. We couldn't make out what he was saying, until Bryce realized that he was talking about when we were in Omaha for General Conference in October. He remembered! Something about what he saw reminded him. He then proceeded to tell us about church, Jesus, Christmas, and some other three - year old ramblings. I was so proud that he remembered watching conference, and that it is important to be reverent. I'm so glad he remembers our family making the time to sit and watch conference. Hopefully that will pass on to him how important we feel it is. Made me feel like he is learning!
Natalie then proceeded to walk up to the missionaries, lift up her shirt a few times, and tell them all about he newly-discovered belly button. Or, as she calls it, billy bittin'. They're learning, but I'm not sure what sometimes.
