A blog can be a journal, right? Hope so . . .
Things about my Tyler. . .
Tyler loves his family to be 'complete'. He is only satisfied if, (in his words) if Mommy, Daddy, Natalie, and Tyler can come. He is his happiest when we are together as a family.
Tyler LOVES pudding. Sometimes I think the only reason he eats any meal is because there is a chance, that in the end, he MIGHT get some pudding. He will eat all kinds, chocolate, vanilla, butterscotch. . . .
Tyler cannot stand to wear 'crunchy' clothes. I doesn't like jeans, he only wants to wear comfies. And, when I help him put comfies on, he sighs, like 'oh, this is nice!'
Tyler is into all thing pow-pow Power Rangers, King Fu, Ninja Turtles, anything that kicks or fights is just awesome. All of his underwear is "spooper hewo" underwear. Some days Mr Incredible is the best, other days it is Speed Racer.
Tyler loves movies. Sometimes that the only confirmation that I have that he is my child. :) He not only enjoys the actual show, but loves the experience. The dim lights, the popcorn, the seats, the candy, etc . . .
Tyler has my lips. Exactly like my lips. They are the same shape as mine and very pouty. He works this to his advantage way too much. However, for mommy and daddy, we have caught on, and don't buy in, BUT for others', beware. It works on babysitters, preschool teachers, nursery leaders, and the like. I forgot to include grammas and grandpa's. When he was a newborn I used to count the 'folds' in his lips. He had nine. Four on top, and Five on the bottom. They are still faintly there if you look carefully.
Tyler loves to cuddle with blankets, lounge on the couch, and have his back tickled.
About my Natalie . . .
When Natalie is mad about something, like mommy saying 'no' she sticks her lips out and squints her eyes. After that, a tantrum is usually to follow. These can last anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes.
Natalie loves to be naked. I have found her in the nude randomly. She is a nightmare to catch after her bath. She is usually off hiding somewhere. Fortunately, by now, I know most of her spots.
Natalie think that she is at least 5 years old. She knows that she can do anything she puts her mind too, and nobody better get in her way.
Natalie loves babies. When she spots an infant carrier, she will bee line, or point until I see it and take her too it. All babies live in infant carriers, and are there for her to squat down and look at.
Natalie eats anything and everything. She takes a long time to eat, and loves every bite of food. Recently she learned how to 'slurp' out of a bowl. Whether its rice, yogurt or soup, she eats most of it, then tilts it up and slurps away.
Natalie has amazing balance. She can walk a fine line, balance on a ball, and has great posture. I think that is what helped her learn to walk at 11 months.
These are my kids now, and hopefully they will still be true tomorrow. They change so quick everyday! Gotta love 'em
